UCLG Africa reminds that it is holding its next Elective  General  Assembly on December 7th, 2012, during the Africities Summit in Dakar. This General Assembly session will carry out the renewal of the organization’s governing bodies for the next three years (2012-2015).

We attract your attention that according to the resolutions and recommendations of the Executive Committee and the Rules and Procedures, to be eligible for election to the different governing bodies:

• Each member must be up to date with his membership dues for the years 2011 and 2012.
• The candidates must have a leading position in their cities or national associations  (executive  mayor  or  equivalent  for  cities;  president  or  chairperson  for  national associations).
